I met my husband Drew in law school, and we have been married for more than twenty years. Despite both of us being attorneys, he claims I am the “real” lawyer in the family since I enjoy going to court and practicing litigation. We have two teenage girls who make us proud and keep us very busy. My oldest daughter graduated from Leesville Road High School (Go Pride!) and my youngest daughter goes to Broughton High School (Go Caps!). Life is never boring in our household. I am a big advocate for the Autism Society of NC and the Ignite program, which works with young adults with autism. I am a huge fan of the NC State Fair! For those that don’t know, the State Fair is under the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, where I previously worked before joining Ramseur Maultsby. During my tenure there, some of my favorite activities were working the State Fair, the Mountain State Fair and the Got to Be NC Festival! We are so lucky to live in North Carolina and enjoy all it has to offer.
